Alex Jones, Roger Stone Subpoenaed by House Panel Probing Jan. 6 Capitol Riot

WASHINGTON—The House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 pro-Trump riot issued one other spherical of subpoenas Monday to individuals reportedly concerned in planning or financing rallies that preceded the march and assault on the Capitol, together with Infowars host Alex Jones and Roger Stone, a longtime adviser to former President Donald Trump.

Chairman Bennie G. Thompson (D., Miss.) mentioned the committee must know who organized, deliberate, paid for and obtained funds associated to Jan. 6 actions, in addition to what communications organizers had with individuals within the White House and Congress. “We believe the witnesses we subpoenaed today have relevant information, and we expect them to cooperate fully with our effort to get answers for the American people about the violence” that day, Mr. Thompson mentioned.
